The Pavilion houses only two beds and is situated on 1 acre (2.5
rai) of land, featuring 30 meters of beachfront. This extravagant
use of prime land provides an unbelievable sense of space and
freedom so typical of X2.
Exterior: The resorts have a very unique and unequivocal persona
that is embraced by all elements of the resort. The resorts are
designed and built with a primary goal that they must "satisfy the
spirit". This is partly achieved via architectural design, but more
importantly through natural beauty of the location and the meshing
of the structures with the canvas provided by nature. To achieve
this goal, the design of resorts are underpinned by characteristics
of Invisibility of design, Privacy without isolation, Natural
articulation of structures, Homogeneous execution with the
environment.
Lobby: The design icon for this resort is the "X2 BOX". The first
impressive would be the lobby entrance wall, and subsequently
carried through the villa daybeds at the fence area, the
restaurant, the main pool and the outdoor spa.
Rooms
Each of the double rooms comes with an en suite bathroom with
shower, bathtub and hairdryer. Standard features include
satellite/cable TV, Internet access, kitchen with a minibar, safe,
tea and coffee-making facilities, balcony and terrace. Individually
adjustable air conditioning makes for optimum comfort.
Restaurant & Food
4K Restaurant (pronounced "fork") and bar. It's located on beach
front. The restaurant menu is a mix of eastern and western dishes
and the best of fusion.
Activities & Sport
The resort has numerous activities organized by the full-time
activities and guest relations officer. They include swimming,
snorkelling/scuba diving, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing,
trekking, golf, meditation, beach runs and kite surfing. Beauty and
well-being treatments, such as spas and Thai massage, as well as
working out in the gym are also available. There is a swimming pool
and children's paddling pool within the hotel grounds.
