It is actually easy to come visit Villas Flamingos boutique hotel at Holbox Island from Cancún. If you drive through the Cancún-Mérida freeway, once you approached the Leona Vicario community you will find Valladolid Nuevo a very small town; turn right and keep going until you find the road to Kantunilkin and from there to Chiquilá port. This is where you can park your car there to get on board of the ferry to Holbox Island and the Yum Balam natural reserve.
