This beach hotel was opened in 1995 and comprises 75 apartments.
Amongst the facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk,
a safe, a selection of shops, a cafe, 2 bars and 2 restaurants.
Moreover, conference facilities are available and it is possible to
gain access to the Internet as well as to make use of the laundry
service. Younger guest may participate in the kids' club activities
or let off steam in the playground. There is car parking for those
arriving by car.
Rooms
The 18 m² rooms come with individually controllable air
conditioning and each feature a bathroom with a hairdryer, a razor
socket, a direct dial telephone, a TV and a fridge. A personal safe
is provided with the reservation of a standard room at Les
Amandiers. All rooms come with a balcony or a terrace and a sitting
area.
Restaurant & Food
Guests may opt for a bed and breakfast only, a half-board, a
full-board or an all-inclusive stay. All meals are available in a
self-serve buffet form, à la carte or from a menu.
Activities & Sport
Leisure options include 3 swimming pools, 2 of which have
children's paddling areas. Furthermore, there is a poolside snack
bar to relax at and sun loungers and parasols have been laid out
ready for use. It is possible to participate in the (water)
aerobics sessions or to play tennis or table tennis. There is an
entertainment programme to provide some variation for guests both
young and old. The hotel also puts on an evening programme.
Depending on the season, activities include folk dancing, games,
orchestra recitals, or musical performances. Further leisure
activities and walks may be enjoyed in Montravail Forest where the
Caribbean Indian engravings may also be marvelled at. The nearest
golf course is approximately 15 minutes away by car. It is possible
to visit the Trois Rivières Distillery, which affords a
historically interesting setting at the heart of a sugar cane
plantation.
Directions, How to get
there
From Lamentin airport, take the bypass coming from Fort-de-France
towards Sud Caraibes, then head in the direction of Rivière Salée
and then Ste Luce. Leave the trunk road by turning right in the
direction of Anse Mabouya and turn left at the first crossroads.
The hotel complex is 1.5 km along this road.
