This historic and atmospheric hotel was once a resting place for traders on the Mesopotamian trade route and dates back 800 years. It has been restored to its former glory but with modern technological comforts. The walls are made of natural stone and the hotel has beautiful stone arch work and carved niches decorated with local artefacts, while the floors are strewn with Turkish rugs. There is a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a meeting room, outdoor terrace and a car park. The hotel also has wireless Internet access throughout. There are 43 rooms in total at this historical hotel. Guests are welcomed in the lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services and a currency exchange.
