Alamat : domineestraat 36-38, brokopondo district Peta Hotel
Located in the Brokopondo district at approximately 85 km from Suriname's capital city of Paramaribo, the hotel is situated along the peaceful waters of the Suriname River and resting within the cool shade of the breathtaking Amazonian rainforest. It is accessible by road and river, within 1.5 hours from Paramaribo, and set within a total area of 2,400 hectares adjacent to Bergendal Heritage Village and Adventure Centre. Along the coastal areas, the road system ensures easy access for cars as well as for tourist buses. Taxis are plentiful in Paramaribo and the main towns. Most visits to the interior of the country include a flight in a light aircraft, although many trips will often include a final stage in a local dug-out canoe. These river boats are the main form of transportation in the inland. Otherwise, guests must go on foot. Suriname has an extensive network of some 50 airstrips throughout the country served by local air charter companies.
