The resort is located on the southern tip of Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, on the Red Sea coast, one of the world's most fascinating natural seascape environments, inviting guests to spend their holiday in a place with some of the cleanest sandy beaches in the world and excellent scuba diving. The beach hotel is set on 30 acres of landscaped gardens with waterfalls, rivers and 22 individually designed bridges. The resort area offers a variety of 129 rare tropical plant species. There is a protected area of Mangroves just 10 km from the hotel, which is definitely worth a visit. Guests can take a bus to and from Naama Bay for an additional fee, while the bus service to and from the airport is free of charge for all guests and is available on request.

This air-conditioned hotel has a total of 329 rooms and suites, and among its facilities count an entrance hall with 24-hour reception service, a hotel safe and a currency exchange facility. Guests may also make use of the café, the bar, the disco, the auditorium and the restaurant. There are also conference facilities available, as well room (24-hour) and laundry services. Younger guests are offered a kids club, Abracadabra (minimum age 4), and a playground. Parking is available for those guests arriving by car.

Rooms
The rooms and suites are decorated in Arabic, tropical and maritime themes. Each room has an en suite bathroom, a balcony or terrace, a satellite TV, a direct dial telephone, Internet access, a safe and a minibar/ mini fridge. A double or king-size bed also comes as standard and the heating and air conditioning are individually adjustable. Marine club rooms offer a prime sea view, and additional facilities include bathrobes, tea and coffee-making facilities and a turn-down service.

Restaurant & Food
The hotel's selection of dining options includes Olivos, the main hotel, restaurant for breakfast and lunch plus different themed dinners, Il Grotto pizzeria and the Trade Winds seafront restaurant serving seafood and grills. Additional evening options include French, Oriental and Italian restaurants. The poolside café serves light snacks and refreshments, while other options for drinks include the tropical lobby bar, seaside and beach bars and the Bedouin Tent, offering Egyptian tea, coffee and traditional water pipes.

Activities & Sport
The hotel has 3 swimming pools with a separate children's paddling pool, a poolside bar and loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. There is also a diving centre and the hotel health club offers guests a fully equipped gym, a jet massage Jacuzzi, massage and treatment rooms, 3 saunas and 3 steam rooms (pay on site for entrance and treatments). Additionally, the hotel features a beach volleyball court, aerobics classes, a jogging track and tennis courts (pay locally). There are facilities for table tennis and billiards. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out on the local beach ready for use.
