Part of Starwood's Luxury Collection, this resort is a refined and elegant addition to Mauritius. A combination of sophistication and laid-back style make this a fantastic property from which to be based. Two large pools offer ample room for sunbathing and lounging, whilst the small beach has small, intimate areas with hammocks and sunloungers. Land recreation facilities include a state-of-the-art fitness centre, two tennis courts, a Mandara spa and, for children, the Explorers Club. In addition, extensive work has recently been done on the beach area, which now boasts 700 metres of white sand beach.
Exterior: The property is comprised of 15 thatched villas situated over 20 acres, housing a combination of 193 rooms. Much of the property has been built with hardwood timber and the decor is muted and natural. Two large swimming pools are situated on either side of the resort.
Lobby: The lobby is large and expansive with ample seating area overlooking the pool and beach. The lobby bar is off to one side and offers guests an area to sit and unwind, whilst small boutiques line the corridor that lead out to one side of the resort.

Each of the 15 villas has been designed to embrace the beauty of the resort's spectacular beachfront setting. The landscaping, various water-based features and the sheer beauty of the Indian Ocean work their way into the simple yet sophisticated décor. All rooms offer breathtaking sea views. All of the rooms and suites have a classic feel, though a modern aesthetic weaves its way in and out of the tastefully appointed spaces. The accommodation comes with thoughtful amenities, such as flat-screen televisions and Luxury Collection beds. A palette of soft, muted colours that includes taupe, ivory, and duck-egg blue adds a sense of serene elegance to the rooms. Spacious and airy marble bathrooms and dressing areas open up onto a generous bedroom and patio area, providing the ideal spot from which to admire the natural reef and gentle waves pulsing below.

There are three restaurants on-site, the main restaurant located just off the lobby serves breakfast, lunch and the included half-board dinner. Dinner is either a three-course menu or buffet, depending on the evening. An Italian speciality restaurant is located near one of the pools and is open for both lunch and dinner. Lastly, a casual lunch option is located near the other swimming pool.
