The hotel was constructed in 1985 under the donation of Mr. Pao
Yue-Kong, the famous industrialist in Hong Kong. Being recently
re-structured and renovated thoroughly, it is a true 5-star luxury
hotel in Beijing.
Exterior: It is a modern high-rise structure of steel, glass and
concrete in beige color, with an impressive steel pyramid top roof
and an impressive entrance.
Lobby: The lobby is large in size with exquisite Roman pillars,
specially designed marble floor and carpets in beige and brown
combination, a stylish crystal chandelier from the center of the
ceiling, and a seating area with luxurious sofa sets and stylish
coffee tables. In the very center of the hall with elegantly
arranged fresk flower banquet, there placed a beautifyl redwood
round tabel with golden decorations of 6 lovely goddess supporting
the surface of the table with their golden wings.
Rooms
Each of the luxury business guest rooms has a large comfortable
desk, bright lighting, broadband Internet access, business
magazines and guides, and tens of international satellite TV
channels in several languages. Each room additionally features a
shower and bathtub, a double or king-size bed and amenities
including a direct dial telephone, hairdryer, in-room safe, tea and
coffee making facilities and air conditioning.
Restaurant & Food
The Great Capital has assembled a team of talented chefs from all
over the world, and Han Mei Fang offers delicious foods from
various cuisines. The famous chefs of Han Mei Fang carefully
prepare dishes of diverse flavours, or traditional cuisine, Sichuan
dishes and Taiwanese cuisine, as well as vegetarian options. The
hotel offers all-inclusive packages and serves a continental
breakfast buffet each morning. Lunch and dinner are available à la
carte, from set menus or in the form of a buffet.
Activities & Sport
The latest air conditioning system purifies the environment, so
that guests can enjoy clean and fresh air while walking through the
hotel's natural ambiance. Guests can enjoy a swim in the indoor
swimming pool, which contains high quality water, or alternatively
