This hotel is located at the centre of Newcastle, just 50 m from the nearest train station and there are plenty of restaurants, bars and pubs also located in the vicinity (100 m away). The nearest nightclub is 150 metres away.

The hotel was built in 1990 and renovated in the year 2000. It comprises a total of 156 rooms spread over 5 floors, of which 8 are suites and 140 are doubles. The hotel is well-equipped with a lobby, a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange desk, a lift, a conference room, a public Internet terminal and a car park. The inviting air-conditioned à la carte restaurant has a separate non-smoking area and highchairs are available on request. Room and laundry services round off the offerings.

Restaurant & Food

The hotel has two restaurants. Harry's Bar and restaurant is very informal. This is where breakfast is served and also is open for lunch and dinner. The other is called Le Rivage and is open for dinner only. Le Rivage is fine dining restaurant. Both have stunning views over the Tyne.

Directions, How to get there

If coming by car from the North, guests have to approach Newcastle on the A1(M), taking the slip road A695 City Centre. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit and follow the City Centre signs; at next roundabout take the B1600 Quayside exit, and the hotel is on the right. From the South: approach Newcastle on the A1(M), pass Washington Services and follow the A1 Gateshead signs. Take the slip road A184 City Centre; A184 becomes A189. At the end of Redheugh Bridge take the 1st left and follow the B1600 Quayside signs, and the hotel is on the right.
