Every night around sunset, hotel hosts Hawaii's finest entertainers and live Hawaiian music at the oceanfront poolside. 80% of guestrooms are non-smoking. A charge of 200 USD reconditioning fee will apply to a guest if a non-smoking room is found to have been compromised.
Exterior: The hotel is a modern building 31 stories in height with 3 wings.
Lobby: The lobby is large in size, with tables chairs and couches in a waiting area. "Honu" or turtles accent the lobby as that is the hotel's theme. Plants and flowers are abundant.

Each of the spacious, well-furnished rooms comes with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, an Internet connection, a coffee machine, ironing equipment and a hire safe as standard.

Many distinctive dining options are available at the hotel from casual oceanfront lunches to fine dining. The newest addition is the RumFire offering the largest selection of vintage rum in the United States, an exotic blend of tapas style cuisine, pre embargo Cuban cigars, and dramatic fire pits for lunch and dinner daily. Another one is al fresco casual restaurant offering fresh seafood buffets and classic island cuisine. There is also a delicatessen with made to order gourmet meals and fresh healthy ingredients for guests on the go.

In the outdoor complex are 2 swimming pools with poolside snack bars (for an additional fee) around which sun loungers and parasols have been laid out ready for use (may be used on payment of additional charges). Various other water sports are on offer on the beach such as catamaran sailing (supplement payable). It is possible to enjoy a work-out in the hotel gym.
