This is a beautiful guest house property, which is situated on a working farm and wine estate in the heart of the Western Cape wine country. Comprising a total of 18 guest rooms, the hotel welcomes guests into a lobby with a 24-hour check-out service, a hotel safe and a cloakroom. Meals are served either on the vine-covered veranda, which overlooks a tranquil lawn, or in the dining room with its gallery of canvases by world-famous local artists Paul Emsley, Cecil Skotnes and Larry Scully. During colder weather guests can enjoy the warmth and comfort of a roaring fireplace. The superb unfiltered Bordeaux-blend red wine harvested and created right on the wine farm itself is also available for tasting.

The hotel includes an outdoor swimming pool. Sun loungers have been placed poolside and refreshments are offered. Relaxation can be found with a massage. Guests wishing to play a round of golf can visit Kleine Zalza golf course, which is 7 km from the accommodation or a number of other top local golf courses.
