A really excellent guesthouse with lots of character and a great place to stay if you want to relax whilst exploring Cape Town. The guesthouse has a plunge pool, outdoor terrace to relax in and plenty of seating in the public spaces. Whilst the guesthouse is central, guests will feel they are hidden away from the busy city centre and made to feel at home by the welcoming guesthouse team and owners.
Exterior: The Sweetest Guesthouse is an attractive Victorian residential house just two storeys high.
Lobby: There is no lobby as such and guests are welcomed in the entrance kitchen area and are taken to their rooms.

Each en suite bedroom has its very own design and is uniquely furnished with antiques, art and African artifacts making them refreshingly different from your average hotel room. All of the rooms boast high ceilings, wooden floors and good size comfortable beds. The rooms have flat screen TVs and Wifi internet access. No two rooms are the same in the guesthouse but are all are beautifully designed making guests feel like they are staying home away from home.

The guesthouse does not have a restaurant but it has a welcoming open plan kitchen where breakfast is served. Guest can enjoy their breakfast in the kitchen or on the often sunlit terrace. Free tea and coffee making facilities are available to guests all day and there is a communal fridge stocked with soft drinks and alcoholic drinks which guests can help themselves to at a charge.
